PERSONALITY: Lillet can best be described as a quiet and dutiful older sister. She was born the oldest of an unknown numbers of brothers. In the series that she was from she pulled herself away from them and her family in order to attend the magic school Tower of North Star. She sees this as an exciting opportunity, but at the same time she is reminded that this is the longest time away from her family. She wants very much to be able to be back home to tend watch over and protect her younger siblings, but she knows that she would be able to support her family once she is recognized as a properly trained mage. So she continues with her classes with earnestness and a smile. She doesn’t want to let them down.
When we first meet Lillet as she enters the doors of Tower of North Star, she comes across as quiet and more than a little shy. Primarily this is due to her humble origins and being taught by some of the most respectable magicians in the kingdom. She wanted to put her best foot forward and make a good impression. This shyness continues to the other students as well. With a casual exchange of a few words, however, she began to open up and was friendly and impressionable. As she had only known the life of a small village to the North (this is never specified), she had little experience encountering the wonders and marvels of the other parts of the kingdom. Everything seemed so fascinating and she had little difficulty hiding her enthusiasm and curiosity.
While she may be shy at first, once she becomes acquainted with people Lillet becomes friendlier. She enjoys an interesting story and having fun with others, though she still tends to prefer one-on-one interactions. Once a friendship is made, she is a kind and devoted friend. She is always there to lend a listening ear or a kind word to the people that needed it, and encourage people to always be their best. What they are doesn’t matter. In fact, Lillet befriended the resident tower elves that cleaned students rooms and kept the grounds, treating what was essentially the janitorial staff as friends or even family. In a way, she ended up being a big sister to the lot of them.
She did not appreciate everybody in the tower, however. One particularly boastful and arrogant alchemist insulted her quickly with his condescending attitude. Though she would generally try to get along with him during class, Lillet would be prickly and quick with a sharp tongue whenever he showed signs of lip. When faced with somebody doing something she doesn’t approve of, she first tries to change their behavior. If that does not prove effective, then what she chooses to do is ignore them to the best of her abilities. For example, another instructor, a demon, blandly entreated the new student with all the civility of a petting a wet dog. Lillet responded by working with him dutifully (he was her teacher after all), but kept her distance and only went to him whenever possible. However, once this decision has been she can be rather stubborn about changing her mind.
Finally, in spite of her unassuming and mild-mannered appearance, Lillet can be tenacious and clever, especially when catastrophe strikes. In the course of her story, the lives of everybody in the Tower become endangered as two powerful demons awaken and threaten to destroy the school. In spite of her fear, she uses her knowledge and skills to protect the other teachers and students at the school. Despite her enthusiasm, however, she finds herself endanger of losing her own life. Inexplicably, however, she finds herself in a groundhog-day like scenario where she awakens to the first few minutes of stepping foot inside the Tower. Thus, she lives out the next five days informing all the teachers of this threat and ultimately discovers that the teachers were useless. When the week resets again, she attempts to determine other ways to prevent the disaster from happening. She attempts everything, from uncovering the secrets of the Philosopher’s stone, to bartering her own soul to acquire a book on demon’s (which was spared as the demon never made the deal in the new week). In the end she finally found a solution in which both the demons were defeated, nobody was harmed, and the endless chain of the same five days was finally broken.
One difference between the game’s Lillet and her AU counterpart, of course, is that she never goes to the Tower of North Star school, and is left with a feeling of worry and anticipation over her growing mutant powers. This worry is made worse by the fact that her own father never stuck around to take care of Lillet and her mother. Once her mother remarried, she still felt love and affection but has an awkward feeling of being cast aside. This feeling remains even in the presence of her six brothers and sisters who love her dearly. Something inside of her tells her that she’s not wanted and foreign. As such, she does not have the highest opinion of herself and is prone to experiencing feelings of self-doubt.
POWERS/ABILITIES: Lillet’s power is an emotion-based summoning ability. Based on what emotion she draws from, she is capable of manifesting a variety of fantasy creatures. Each creature begins at about a foot and a half in height, corporeal, possess their own powers, and have a will of their own dependent on the type of emotion was necessary to summon them. There is no limit to the number of these creatures that she can summon, each summon has a cumulative effect on what emotion she is expressing. Should she summon too many (the limit is usually about 6 though this can improve with training) her emotion (and creatures) become more erratic and difficult to control. She needs to be physically nearby for her to dismiss her creations.
In addition, though she is not proficient at doing this yet, she is capable of merging creatures of the same type into a more advanced and powerful type. While the basic level represents mild expression of her emotions, these advanced types are much more powerful. They are larger, more durable and can use their abilities to stronger effect. Finally, she would one day be able to merge these advanced forms into their most powerful manifestations. As of right now, however, these ultimate forms are completely out of Lillet’s grasp and are often the most difficult for her to maintain.
The emotions and their respective creature she summons, are as follows:
Joy/Altruisim/Friendliness/Protection: Summons creatures that protect and heal. These are the most common creature types, as they reflect what Lillet feels the most often. These are the easiest temperament and possess basic physical power, barrier spells, and healing magic.
Basic: Elves and Fairies – Generous and benevolent spirits. Elves are capable of healing, while fairies can fly and can create energy bows and arrows.
Advanced: Unicorn – A peaceful guardian of the woods. Capable of creating a powerful barrier and can heal allies with the magic from its horn.
Ultimate: Angel – The true manifestation of Lillet’s desire to protect. Angel can fly, manifest a shining sword, and possesses powerful healing magic. Of the Ultimates, Angel is the easiest for Lillet to control.
Mischief/Anger/Desire/Deception: Summons creatures that act impishly and destroy things. Not uncommon, and difficult for her to control though they can be directed. These are powerfully willful creatures and have a bad habit of running away from her. They are powerful physical attackers and can manifest fire.
Basic: Imps and Gremlins – Antagonistic creatures that delight in mischief. Imps are capable of manifesting fire while gremlins tend to be hardier and physically strong.
Advanced: Ogre – A powerful beast wielding a tremendous club. Ogres sacrifice their ability to manifest fire for extreme physical strength.
Ultimate: Lilith – The true manifestation of Lillet’s desire and anger. A malicious entity that delights in self-indulgence and is capable of powerful charm magic, fire spells, and physical attack. Lilith represents everything that Lillet seeks to move away from, and as such, extremely hard for her to control.
Fear/Sadness/Despair/Isolation: Summons creatures that are dour and somber in demeanor. Not uncommon, and often stubbornly refuses to be controlled. These are also willful creatures but unlike the previous types tend to linger around Lillet. They are incorporeal and cannot be harmed by physical attacks. They absorb energy and feel as cold as ice.
Basic: Ghosts – A tormented soul without form or body. Ghosts cannot attack directly, but have the ability to sap energy and inflict cold by their presence.
Advanced: Phantasms – Souls of the condemned or those that vowed as eternal guardians. Can be various types, such as ghost knights or wraith. Ghost knights are restricted to the ground but have powerful swords that are capable of cutting others. Wraiths are more antagonistic, flying in the air and stealing life with outstretched hands.
Ultimate: Reaper – The true manifestation of Lillet’s fear and despair. A gloomy entity that robs those nearby of hope and life. The hardest for Lillet to control, Reaper heeds no commands and often acts independently of Lillet’s desires.
Creativity/Thought/Ideas/Inspiration: Summons creatures that are clever and quick-witted. The rarest of the four creature types Lillet can summon. These creatures are often independent, not impossible to control but are often absorbed in their own ideas. They have no fighting abilities but can manifest electricity.
Basic: Gnomes – Basic creatures of inspiration. Creatures with small minds, small ideas, and many questions. They are capable of great knowledge and insight in one area and little knowledge in others.
Advanced: Golem – Living embodiments of metal, plants, or stone. Represents Lillet’s understanding of engineering, biology, and geology, respectively.
Ultimate: Muse – The true manifestation of Lillet’s creativity. Muse is a six-armed woman who can masterfully create art, perform music, tell stories, act, and dance.
AU HISTORY: This is the meat of the AU. We want a detailed history of their character. Their early life, how they came to discover they were a mutant, and what lead them to the institute. If they've been here awhile, we'd like to know what they've done since coming to Xavier. If they're a returning character, we want to fill in the gap between when they were here last and now. Once again, spare no detail. There is no hard limit on how long this needs to be, but if we feel it is too barebones, there will be a revision, so please do what you can.

This is basically to show off character voice in the form of a network post. It can be text, vocal, or video. We want at least some dialog, though in cases of less talkative characters, we are willing to accept character 'voice' in more subtle ways. Make it work!

This is an example of your ability to write the character's introspection. Their thoughts, feelings, and reactions to a given situation. Get inside their head. Remember to show, not tell. These are off network, what would normally go in the log community. You do not necessarily need to write this prose style, and can do a bracket style if you choose. But we still need to see a healthy amount of introspection.
